Postdoctoral Scholar in Molecular & Cognitive Neuroscience

An NIH funded position for a POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR in MOLECULAR and COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE is available immediately in the lab of Dr. Bernhard Luscher, Professor, Department of Biology, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, USA. The aim of this project is to unravel mechanisms underlying beneficial and detrimental effects of anxiolytic and antidepressant drugs in the developing nervous system using genetically defined animal models of anxiety and depression. A PhD with expertise in behavioral neuroscience is required, preferably in combination with experience in one or several other areas such as neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and microscopic imaging techniques.
