The Biology Department Alumni Mentoring Program connects Biology students with alumni for career guidance.

What is this program about?

The Biology Department Alumni Mentoring Program connects Biology students and alumni by matching students with professionals in their field(s) of interest who can offer advice and information about career options or other issues relevant to particular fields.

 

The mentoring program is open to all alumni of the Biology Department, as well as Penn State alumni working in Biology-related fields. The program is open to Biology students of Junior standing with the expectation that the partnership will continue through Junior and Senior years (or until graduation).

 

All mentors and proteges are required to attend a Mentoring Kickoff Dinner and Workshop where you will have the opportunity to meet your mentor or protege in person, learn more about the mentoring program, and work with your mentor/protege to develop goals and action steps for participation in the program.
