About the BDGSA
The Biology Department Graduate Student Association (BDGSA) is a collection of graduate students with advisors affiliated with the Biology Department. They are in multiple graduate programs, such as Biology, Ecology, Genetics, IBIOS, Neuroscience, Physiology, and Plant Physiology. The BDGSA sponsors weekly seminars given by graduate students, invites speakers to give Biology Department seminars, helps with new student recruitment, represents graduate students at departmental meetings, and organizes social events for current students.
