alumni

Claude Schweizer has been a graduate student from 1998-2003, working on the characterization of mice contaning a floxed gamma2 subunit gene. He is currently a postdoc at INSERM in Paris (France) and can be reached at schweize@biologie.ens.fr.

Melissa Alldred has graduated in 2005 as a student in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology graduate program. Her work entailed the mapping of GABA-A receptor subunit domains that target these receptors to synapses. She currently works as a postdoc at the Nathan Kline Institute, NY School of Medicine. She can be reached at malldred@NKI.RFMH.ORG.

Scott DiLoreto was a senior research technician in the Lüscher lab. He helped with day to day management of the lab, maintain the transgenic mouse colony, spend all the research funds and randomly move heavy equipment around with Clint's help. You can contact him at dsd134@psu.edu.
Cheryl Keller has been a postdoc in the lab. She has identified GODZ as a first member of the mammalian family of DHHC-type palmitoyltransferases. GODZ plamitoyltes the gamma2 subunit of GABA-A receptors, a mechansm that is implicated in trafficking of these receptors to postsynaptic membranes.
Daniel Nagode has graduated with a BS in Biology
Lauren Kerr was a student in the Schreyer Honors College and has graduated with a BS in Biology in Spring 2005, with the highest overall GPA of her graduating class. Congratulations!
John Brendan Lednak has graduated in Spring 2006 with a BS in Biotechnology .

Ashley Stull has graduated in Spring 2006 with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Beth Luellen, Ph. D, has been a postdoctoral fellow working on the characterization of the serotonin system in mice with global or conditional deficits in the gamma2 subunit of GABA-A receptors. Beth is currently on maternity leave
